Borough Guide

Best Pizza in Queens

In Queens, a great pizzeria is likely to sit between two restaurants serving something else entirely.

The borough rewards you for going looking. The standouts are spread across neighborhoods instead of clustered on one avenue. Astoria, Long Island City and Ridgewood carry most of the weight, with long-running Italian-American spots in Corona and Howard Beach behind them. There are fewer places here than in Brooklyn or Manhattan, but that's about how spread out Queens is, not the quality.
